Summer is coming, and for my family that means CAMP. I will be on vacation from June 21st through July 5th, and as a result no items will be shipped during that time. In order to be shipped prior to June 21st, orders must be placed by June 6th. You will be notified of order confirmation and, if there are any issues with availability that would hinder shipping by that date, I will let you know at that time. Also, please keep in mind any orders placed between June 21st and July 5th will also be delayed and that the 3-4 week "clock" will start ticking on the 6th upon my return. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, as I should have internet access (yes, I camp with a laptop -- not exactly roughing it). I just don't bring the dye pots along. That would get me into a whole different pot of hot water.

That being said, I've made a few changes to my base yarns, and am thrilled with what we are offering. Gone is the Falkland Superwash Woolicious. This had to go to make room for the super wonderful Good Harbor Merino/Seacell. You will love this yarn! I am planning on casting on a Swallowtail Shawl in this as soon as I get some of my current WIPs off the needles. There have also been a few new colors added, with more on the way -- both semi-solids and bold hand-paints. As always, I love to hear form you and I am constantly and continually looking for ways to improve the site, so any suggestions are more than welcome!

So, did the holidays kick your tail? They sure did mine! But, I'm back at the dye pots and making a commitment -- not a resolution, but a commitment! -- to make more frequent updates and some fun changes here at chez Sereknity. I will be adding some colorways that are not necessarily new, but for whatever reason have not yet made it to the site, most often due to poor photo quality. There will be a new section showcasing my kettle-dyed tone-on-tone colorways. As always, all colorways are available in all yarn styles. I will also be introducing a few new yarn lines to the site, and saying good-bye to some old. Twist and Super twist, due to quality issues (read as "too many knots") will go the way of the dodo, while we welcome on "Sweet", a fabulous soft and squishy alpaca/merino/silk blend in a DK weight; "Luxe", a 100% Mongolian cashmere in a lt.fingering/laceweight; and the ever popular Zephyr laceweight in 50/50 merino silk, hand-dyed in Sereknity colorways.
Probably the most notable addition to the web-site will be the addition -- FINALLY -- of my hand-painted rovings in a wide variety of fibers -- merino, alpaca/silk, merino/angora/silk, BFL and many more.
I strive for accuracy in all my photos, but do please keep in mind that each individual skein, by its handmade nature, will vary, as can the monitor from which you view the pictures. If you are ever in anyway dissatisfied with a Sereknity purchase, please contact me,
